In this long-awaited BEMF début, Nachtmusique explores Harmoniemusik—chamber music exclusively for wind instruments—from Mozart’s Vienna. From simple duets to sonorous sextets, Nachtmusique draws on their diverse combination of instruments to sweep you away to a candle-lit room where every nuance and color of the boxwood clarinets, valveless horns, and plaintive bassoons blend into a harmonious whole.
