Celebrating Tomás Luis de Victoria (1548–1611)

One of the world’s most beloved vocal ensembles, The Tallis Scholars have earned the highest praise from critics and audiences around the world for their stunningly gorgeous renditions of Renaissance vocal music. Commemorating the 400th anniversary of the death of the greatest Spanish Renaissance composer, Victoria, they return for their annual appearance with the Boston Early Music Festival in a program that features Victoria’s exquisite and haunting Requiem, which they first performed in Boston in their spring 1990 BEMF début. Don’t miss this extraordinary season finale.
