VENICE BAROQUE ORCHESTRA
with Giuliano Carmignola, violin
directed by Andrea Marcon

Music of Vivaldi, Galuppi, and Albinoni
The Venice Baroque Orchestra first took the music world by storm in 1997 with their imaginative programming and vivacious performances. Their unwavering commitment to rediscovering Venetian masterworks—such as their 2004 BEMF début featuring Vivaldi’s Andromeda Liberata—have exhilarated audiences across the globe. For the orchestra’s newest program, they are joined by outstanding violinist Giuliano Carmignola in a program of instrumental works by three of Venice’s most prominent opera composers, led by director Andrea Marcon at the
keyboard. We regret that Viktoria Mullova will
no longer be appearing at this performance.
