BEMF Concurrent Events offer unique opportunities to hear from and interact with some of the top scholars and artists in Early Music today.

Pre-Opera Talks precede most BEMF opera performances. These engaging talks offer audience members fascinating insights into the music and the evolution of BEMF's production.

Performance Masterclasses allow students, as well as professional musicians, to receive a public coaching by some of the top performers in the field today. Auditors are encouraged to attend.

Featured BEMF Artists lead a participatory Dance Workshops exploring aspects of Baroque dance featured in Boston Early Music Festival opera productions. This unqiue event is always popular and limited to the first 50 particpants.

At every Festival, BEMF gathers performers, scholars, and industry professionals from around the world to discuss issues pertinent to the field of Baroque opera and early music in a series of Lectures and Demonstrations on topics ranging from staging Baroque operas in modern times, to developing the early music audience in North America, and current trends in instrument building.

Festival Week Pass ($40) provides you with admission to the Exhibition, the BEMF CD Store, Symposia, Dance Workshops, Performance Masterclasses as auditors, Family Day, and Pre-Opera Talks for the entire week, as well as discounts to select Fringe Concerts. Festival Week Passes may be purchased in advance from the BEMF Box Office; Week Passes and Day Passes ($10) will be available at the BEMF Welcome Center at the Courtyard by Marriott Boston Downtown or at any of the above events during the Festival week.
