The Boston Early Music Festival will present the North American premiere of Agostino Steffani’s 1691 opera Orlando generoso, as the fully-staged operatic centerpiece of the June 2019 Boston Early Music Festival. Early Music and Opera lovers from across the globe converged on Boston for a truly spectacular week of opera, concerts, and so much more, from June 11-18. BEMF was exceptionally honored to showcase artwork by American artist Leon Steinmetz - at our June 2017 Festival - from his series "All the world's a stage". Recall and celebrate the 2017 Festival - themed “Carnival” - with a special Commemorative Print featuring "Carnival" by Leon Steinmetz. Each museum-quality reproduction (20" x 26.625") is printed on archival, acid-free paper and suitable for framing; further, each Print is personally signed and numbered by the artist.
