Media organizations planning to review the 2015 Boston Early Music Festival are invited to request:
- one (1) complimentary ticket to a single performance of each of the three operas performed as part of The Monteverdi Trilogy-Ulisse, Poppea, and Orfeo;
- AND/OR: one (1) complimentary ticket to the performance of Monteverdi's Vespers of 1610;
- AND/OR: two (2) complimentary tickets to any of the 15 Festival Concerts as well as the performances during the Organ Mini-Festival and the Keyboard Mini-Festival;
- Due to the limited number of seats at NEC's Williams Hall, there will be NO media tickets available for the June 12 Lecture/Concert with Thomas Forrest Kelly and Blue Heron.
Journalists wishing to cover the Exhibition and its associated events may request one (1) Festival Week pass. For BEMF performances in the Berkshires, each organization may request two (2) complimentary tickets to each performance.
Ticket sales are an important source of revenue for the Boston Early Music Festival. Please be advised that complimentary media tickets for certain performances may be subject to availability. All requests for media tickets must be made prior to the start of the Festival on Sunday, June 7, and ideally by Monday, June 1. If only one (1) complimentary ticket is required by a journalist, we would urge you to let us know when you request your seats. Complimentary media tickets are non-transferrable and are available for pick-up at the Will-Call table prior to each performance.
Additional tickets may be purchased when requesting media tickets. No more than one request may be made by any individual media organization or publication for any Festival program.
All requests for media tickets should be made to Brian Stuart, Director of Marketing and Publicity or Kathleen Fay, Executive Director, by email or by calling the BEMF office at 617-661-1812. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.
